Updated: May 31, 2016

KhumaloKaizer Chiefs have confirmed that SuperSport United defender Sibusiso Khumalo has joined the club, with Keegan Ritchie going the other way.

The swap deal was announced on Tuesday evening, after the club released seven players and put a few players on the transfer list, as they look to rebuild for the 2016-2017 season.

Khumalo made a total of 13 appearances in the Absa Premiership this season, a contrast from the 2014-2015 season where he started 23 games for Matsatsantsa.

Ritchie, meanwhile, struggled for game time on his return to the club at the start of the 2015-2016 campaign, as he played second fiddle to Tsepo Masilela for most of the term, but he will now reunite with Stuart Baxter at the Tshwane outfit.
