Ghana Black Stars Defender Joins Chiefs on Trials
Former Ghana black stars defender, Lee Addy, is reportedly on trial with Kaizer Chiefs after good word from John Paintsil.
The 26-year-old is a free agent having been deemed surplus to requirements by Serbian outfit, Čukarički, and is now on the lookout for a new club as he seeks to get his career back on track.
Kaizer Chiefs’ assistant coach, Paintsil, helped organize the trial for the former Ghanaian international, although it remains to be seen how long he will be given to impress.
Addy has struggled for form since his Zagreb contract was terminated last year, and he managed just six league appearances in Serbia before being released.
Chiefs are currently several players short of their full contingent due to the international break, however, players are expected to return later in the week ahead of next Wednesday’s clash with Platinum Stars.
