Christian Atsu Named Player Of The Tournament
Ghana black stars won almost all of the individual awards at this years AFCON even though they lost the trophy to Ivorians.
Ghana Black stars gave out their very best to reach the finals of the tournament after a very slow start to the tournament where they lost their first match to Senegal.
Ghana winger, Christian Atsu was named the best player of the tournament after helping Ghana with his great pace and talent on the flanks.
His magical and wonder strike goal scored against Guinea won the best goal of the tournament.
Christian Atsu’s team mate Andre Ayew picked up the goal king award after banging in 3 goals to help ghana reach the finals of the tournament while on-loan (Cambridge Utd) Crystal palace striker Kwesi Appiah won the fair play award after proving a lot of decency in his matches played.
Parma fc midfielder Afriyie Acquah won the player of the match against Ivory Coast in the finals.
