Black Stars arrive in Accra after Friday’s match against Comoros

Ghana, Ghana black starsThe Black Stars of Ghana have arrived safely in Accra today after Friday’s goalless draw against Comoros Islands in the first leg of the  FIFA World Cup qualifier.

The first leg which was played at the Stade Said Mohammed Cheikh Astro pitch in Moroni-Comoros saw the home team put up a surprising performance to over shadow the Black Stars of Ghana but it ended in a drawn game.

The Islanders came into the game with maximum confidence after they beat Lesotho 8 : 1 on Aggregate to qualify to this stage.

Ghana Black stars will move into the next stage of the qualifiers if they are able to beat Comoros in Tuesday’s return leg game

Coach Avram Grant and his side are expected to move to Kumasi for the second leg tie which will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium on Tuesday.
