Barcelona won’t sell Lionel Messi, Neymar or Luis Suarez – Bartomeu

EnriqueBarcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has clearly stated his decision concerning the future of his players [ Messi, Neymar & Suarez ].

Bartomeu has admitted the English Premier League’s financial power represents a challenge to his club but denied it could lead to the exits of Neymar , Lionel Messi or Luis Suarez.

“We are struggling to hold unto our young talents due to the economic and financial power that the English clubs enjoy.”
“Our young talents who are in the Academy[La masia ] constantly receive offers from the Premier League that are very tempting. Every year there are some who leave to the premier league.”

“Our rival is the Premier League. It is not a specific club, it is the financial power of the Premier League itself,” Bartomeu told the newspaper.”

That has been a longstanding complaint at Barca, with Bartomeu’s predecessor, Sandro Rosell, having previously made clear his frustration with Manchester City and Arsenal poaching youngsters from Barca’s La Masia academy.

However, the Financial Times said Bartomeu insisted that his club will always have the resources to fend off English bids for key players, despite a recent report in The Sun that the Barca wage bill could lead to the sale of Messi, Neymar or Suarez.

“Barcelona will not sell any of our stars because they play a key role in the clubs current success and we will hold unto that. ”

“There are rumors circulating that Manchester united is plotting a mega move for Neymar Jnr in January but i don’t think it will work out because all our players are highly motivated and happy here.”

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has urge his players to neglect all rumors and remain focused on their forthcoming La Liga clash with Deportivo La Coruna.
