Hearts of Oak swerved as Asiedu Attobrah completes move to Iraqi side Al Shorta FC for the rest of the season.

Accra Hearts of Oak have been dealt yet another unexpected blow as Asiedu Attobrah swerves the Phobians to sign for Iraqi side Al Shorta FC.

The former New Edubiase United star signed a 6 months contract with the club with an option to renew once the contract wears out at the end of the season.

The former Ghana Under 20 talisman was on the verge of completing a 3 years move to Accra Hearts of Oak after holding successful trials with them.

Al Shorta FC lie 2nd on the league log with 5 points behind leaders Al-Zawra’a.

Attobrah becomes the second ghanaian footballer to secure a move to Iraq this month after Samuel Afful who joined Al Talaba till the end of the season.
